From our clients

SP

Somchai Prachakul

Bangkok — retired civil servant

"The documentation preparation service was exactly what I needed. I had collected many papers over the years but was not sure which were relevant and which were not. Khun Kanya reviewed everything, told me clearly what was missing, and helped me gather it. The final file was submitted in a way I felt confident about."

Nida Wattanasiripong

Nonthaburi — former teacher

"I had received a letter from the pension authority that I found very difficult to understand. I was concerned about missing a deadline. Khun Suphan explained it to me in straightforward terms and then drafted a response that addressed the main points clearly. The process took about a week. I felt kept in the picture throughout, which mattered to me."

PT

Prasert Tanasarn

Samut Prakan — retired engineer

"My matter went to formal review and I was not at all sure what to expect from that process. The team at Aram Legal explained each stage to me as it came — not in legal language, but in terms I could actually follow. I was asked for my input on every submission before it was filed. I never felt the matter was being handled over my head."

KC

Kamolchat Chaisurin

Bangkok — retired nurse

"What I valued most was that nobody tried to hurry me. I took time to read the drafts they prepared, asked questions when I was not sure, and was never made to feel that my questions were taking too long. The fixed fee also helped — I knew what I was paying before I agreed to anything."

WP

Wanchai Phongphit

Pathum Thani — retired accountant

"I came in uncertain about whether I even needed a lawyer — I had tried to respond to a decision letter on my own the previous year without success. This time the response was well-argued and clearly structured. The office was straightforward to reach from Pathum Thani by BTS and the initial meeting was thorough without being rushed."

Sumalee Rattanakorn

Bangkok — retired administrator

"I went through the full administrative review process and it lasted nearly four months. At each stage I received a written summary of what had happened and what was coming next. The progress notes were in plain language — not summaries full of references and numbers that I would have had to decode. That consistency made a difficult period considerably more bearable."

The following summaries describe how three clients worked through their pension matters with our support. Details have been generalised to protect client privacy.

How matters have unfolded

Case Study 01 — Documentation Preparation

The challenge

A retired civil servant in his late sixties had gathered documents for a pension application over many years but had received conflicting advice about which were needed. He was concerned that submitting an incomplete file might delay his application by months or more.

What we did

We conducted a written review of every document he held, produced a gap analysis identifying three missing items, and guided him through obtaining them. The completed file was reviewed with the client in a meeting of approximately ninety minutes before submission.

The outcome

The application was submitted as a complete, well-ordered file. The pension authority requested no follow-up documentation. Processing was completed within the standard administrative period.

Timeline: 11 days from first appointment to submission

"I had worried about this for two years. Once I understood what was actually needed, it was manageable."

Case Study 02 — Decision Letter Response

The challenge

A retired teacher received a decision letter partially rejecting her pension application. The letter cited two grounds and gave a thirty-day window for a response. She found the grounds difficult to interpret and was unsure whether to respond or accept the partial decision.

What we did

We translated the grounds into plain language, explained the practical implications of responding versus not responding, and — once she had decided to respond — drafted a focused letter addressing both grounds with reference to the documents on file. The client requested one change to the draft; it was incorporated and the letter was sent within the deadline.

The outcome

The authority acknowledged the response and requested a supplementary document. We assisted the client in preparing it. The matter proceeded to a further review stage, at which point the Full Administrative Review Representation service was engaged.

Timeline: 6 working days from receipt of decision letter

"I was frightened by the letter when it arrived. By the time we had gone through it together, it felt like something I could deal with."

Case Study 03 — Full Administrative Review

The challenge

A retired engineer had a pension matter that had moved into formal administrative review following an earlier rejected application. The review involved three written submissions over a fourteen-week period and one interview with the reviewing panel.

What we did

We compiled the full documentary record, drafted all three submissions, attended the interview with the client, and sent a written progress note after each significant development. Before each submission was filed, the client was given a copy to review and asked for approval. One submission required a second draft following the client's comments.

The outcome

The review panel reached a decision at the end of the fourteen-week period. We provided the client with a written explanation of the decision and its implications within three days of receipt.

Timeline: 14 weeks — governed by the panel's schedule

"I was kept informed throughout, which I had not expected. Every update was clear and did not leave me with more questions than I had before."
